We work to advance the principles of individual rights and free enterprise within the Republican Party. If you support the Reagan-Goldwater legacy of limited government and personal responsibility, then you have a new home here.

From the Gold Rush to Proposition 215, the California has traditionally emphasized adventure, freedom, autonomy, and celebration of the American Spirit.  While some Golden State politicians have proposed schemes to ban everything from fast food to gun shows to home schooling, we at the RLC-CA are working vigilantly to safeguard the right of families to make their own decisions.

The 2008 election season has inspired many proponents of freedom to become more politically active, and as a result, the RLC is undergoing a renaissance. We hope that you will check for updates on our website, attend our meetings, assist our endorsed candidates, and join us in the campaign for liberty!

Free To Choose: The Power of the Market

We will present the first episode of the original broadcast, “The Power of the Market”. Dr. Friedman demostrates how the market works. He explains that the creation of even a simple object - like the pencil - requires the knowledge of many people, lumberjacks, steel manufacturers, miners, etc. These people may not speak the same language, they may not know or like one another, yet the market enables them to combine knowledge and effort to produce wealth. All without central government direction.
